So I just realized something about meowrails… Horse owners often adopt cats to kill mice in their barns, because mice bother horses. The horses recognize this, and in return they protect the cats (well, they mostly just let the cats sleep on them). And that’s kind of a good analogy for equius and nepeta’s relationship.

That’s hands down the cutest thing ever.

Sometimes I think about genderbend karnep/katnep a lot. Like femkat could throw the biggest tantrums and he’d just fawn all over her from a distance, looking at her like she’s the most purrfect thing in the world. He probably likes her fiery spirit or something. (I could picture this type of scenario  in the actual canon too, haha XD)
